Privacy Policy

1. What we store

Signing in creates an account. We store the email address and name from that sign-in, your plan, how many free tailors you have used in the current monthly window, and the date that window resets.

When you tailor a CV, we save the uploaded CV text, the job description, the tailored CV, and the match score in our database (the tailor_sessions table) so you can open them again from your dashboard. If you save a master CV, the file is kept in a private storage area under your account, with the file name.

Voice interview practice saves the job title, the questions and answers, and the written debrief on your account.

Pro purchases are recorded with the sale id, the plan (monthly or yearly), the purchase time, and the access expiry we calculate from that purchase. Payments themselves are handled by Gumroad.

2. Why we store it

• To run tailoring, cover letters, history, and master CV storage
• To apply the free monthly tailor allowance and Pro access
• To show your past tailored CVs and interview sessions
• To match a Gumroad payment to the correct account

3. Other services that process data

• Supabase — sign-in, the database, and private master CV files
• OpenAI — CV text, job descriptions, cover letters, and interview answers are sent for generation
• Gumroad — checkout and payment records
• Vercel — hosting. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are installed and send page-view and performance data to Vercel. That is separate from the sign-in cookie.
• ElevenLabs — the text of interview questions is sent when voice playback is used
• RapidAPI job listings and salary data — a job title, location and skills derived from a CV are sent when job matching or salary estimates run
• Jina AI Reader — a job posting link you paste is fetched through Jina to read the posting text

4. Cookies

A cookie keeps you signed in. Vercel Analytics may also set its own measurement cookie. We do not run an advertising network from this app.

5. Retention and deletion

The raw text extracted from an uploaded CV is cleared 90 days after that tailor. The tailored CV, the job description and the score stay in your history until you delete your account.

You can delete your account yourself from the dashboard with Delete my account and data. That removes your tailored CVs, uploaded CV text, job descriptions, interview sessions, master CV file and profile, and signs you out. Purchase records are kept for accounting and tax purposes with your name and email removed. Gumroad keeps its own payment records under its own policy.

If you cannot sign in, email nyamfusima@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.
